At the beginning of August, the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) announced the development of two new reports based on data from Livestock Mandatory Reporting. The purpose of releasing this information is to provide additional insight into formula cattle trades.
Last night, the Iowa Cattlemen’s Association hosted a webinar with Charlie Potts from the USDA Agricultural Marketing Service (AMS). Charlie walked through the new reports and answered questions from producers regarding the data presented.
If you missed the webinar, you can watch a recording here.
