Educational Events

ICA BeefMeets

We are making it easier than ever for cattle producers to attend by hosting four meetings around the state, each taking place from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Each event will include education on policy and production, industry updates, a tradeshow and meal. Not only will you learn about topics affecting your beef business, but it’s a great opportunity to voice your concerns and work towards solutions with ICA staff and leaders.

Grassroots Feedback

What issues should be ICA’s top priorities in the coming year? Are there laws or regulations that are hurting your business? These are all important questions that ICA is seeking input on. District breakout sessions provide an opportunity for members to share their concerns, ideas, and input to help set policy priorities for their association in the future.

  • June 10 | 5:00 p.m. - SW Region

  • June 17 | 5:00 p.m. - NE Region

If you have any questions please, contact our events coordinator, Kate.

This year we are focusing on climate and environmental sustainability, as these topics are top of mind with the Biden Administration. Livestock producers have become the most diverse of all farmers as they utilize crops to feed their animals, manure to feed their crops, cover crops to sequester carbon and nutrients, and feed their livestock. Join us to learn more about how you, as a producer, can further enhance the cattlemen’s reputation as the original stewards of the land and natural resources.  Cost is $25 for members, $35 for non members, students are free.
