Iowa Cattle Industry Convention

December 8-9, 2015 | Airport Holiday Inn, Des Moines, IA

All cattle producers invited to Iowa Cattlemen's annual convention

The Iowa Cattle Industry Convention will be held Dec. 8-9, 2015 at the Airport Holiday Inn in Des Moines. ICA invites all cattle producers to come for a few days of education, networking and the opportunity to talk to cattle producers from around the state.

The theme of this year’s meeting is “Share Your Story.” For more than 40 years, the Iowa Cattlemen's Association has been working side-by-side with cattle producers around the state to deliver educational and informational programs, as well as representing their interests with regulatory bodies and legislative efforts. The convention in December will focus on ways that cattlemen can share their story with legislators, consumers, and each other to grow Iowa's cattle business.

There are great educational programs planned for feeders, cow-calf operations, and seedstock.

ICIC attendees have some registration options. Early registration ends at 5 p.m. on Nov. 27. Those who register before that time can enjoy all convention events and meals during the two days for just $75. Full registrations after that time will be $125. There are also daily registrations available for $50 if made before Nov. 27. Again, after that time the cost goes up to $75 for a one-day registration.

The Holiday Inn Des Moines Airport has special room pricing of $88/night for the Iowa Cattle Industry Convention with reservations made by Nov. 27. The hotel and convention center are all located under one roof, providing ease and comfort for participation. Book hotel reservations  online at using group code ICA or call 515-287-2400 and mention 'Iowa Cattlemen.'
